Native File Backup Assistant

This tightly integrated system is designed to bring safe media archiving to today's demanding productions using a file based capture systems.

Capable of ingesting any media format, OnSet® provides archiving of both source masters during digital acquisition and project archives after post. Designed using a low-cost, secure, portable, interchangeable and industry-standard LTO-4 tape cartridges, using the standard TAR format. Back at editorial, this format is compatible with any storage system. The cost per GB is approximately $0.06 and the archive life is 30 years. No compression, no artifacts.

Added to OnSet® is a full featured edit station running Avid or FCP, 4TB of Raid 1 on swappable SATA drives, built in blue ray burning, a complete HD SDI and audio I/O and finally, a high quality HD SDI monitor for critical media viewing.
