The KCM Story:

Our company has a standard enterprise structure that is dominated by Microsoft™ Servers, Exchange Server®, MAS 200®, and Sales Logix®. It made sense that we would only support PC based desktops and mobile clients. We noticed, however, that many of our employees were only using their PC's to access our enterprise software but using their own Mac laptops and home desktops to do much of their other work. We also found that they were using iPhone's and iPad's for most of their email access.

We re-evaluated our approach and decided to give equal choice to our employees on the type of client they would use on our system. By layering Citrix™ between our servers and clients we were able to offer browser based access to all our enterprise systems on both PC and Mac platforms. Our employees are leaving their PC desktops at the office turned off most of the time and find doing their daily tasks on our enterprise systems much more enjoyable. They are also supporting themselves with minimal IT involvement which has reduced our overall IT costs by 25%.

Now we find that our team is much happier, more mobile, and our overhead costs have been reduced.
