Key Code Media installed new systems and upgrades to existing systems to migrate City of Denver – Denver Media Services production and broadcast facilities from Standard Definition to High Definition.
Key Code Media provided research, design, procurement, installation, testing and training for the project which included upgrading the production control rooms edit suites and master control rooms.
The goal of the project was to integrate all facilities so that Denver Media Services production control room is the central point of signal termination for all signals coming from remote facilities within the Downtown City Campus, which incorporates the City and County building, Wellington Webb Building, McNichols Building, the Crime Lab, the Justice Center, the Detention Center and the flypacks which operate as portable, self-contained production units.
Key Code Media also upgraded the master control room for Channel 58, which provides City information and services, including hourly announcements on City services, activities and events. It also includes a display of the City of Denver’s traffic cameras.
