Key Code Education has begun the new 2024-25 Employment Training Panel (ETP) period, featuring a substantial 250% increase in state funding, offering California media professionals the latest in career skills training at significantly reduced costs.
March 19, 2024 – LOS ANGELES, CA – Key Code Education, a premier provider of immersive education for current and aspiring media professionals, has announced their newly-funded Employment Training Panel (ETP) program for 2024 to 2025. This year’s program is distinguished by a remarkable 250% increase in state funding allocated for California media companies to facilitate comprehensive career skill enhancements for their employees in areas like editing, coloring, audio, visual effects, and engineering.
The bolstered financial support underscores California’s confidence in the mission of Key Code Education to equip the industry workforce with the certified skills, systems, and strategies to excel within the dynamic landscape of media and entertainment.

Companies that apply before May 31st 2024 will receive waived training co-pays for their staff, seeing the majority of classes completely free for the duration of the contract period. After this limited time offer, the new KCE co-pay structure will be in effect for all future applicants, still featuring significantly reduced training costs. Companies can also receive rebates based on enrollment volume to see even greater savings. Once approved, each eligible employee can take up to 200 hours of training. Disciplines include Avid Media Composer & Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects, and Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, plus role-specific skills as an Assistant Editor, Post Coordinator, or Engineer, all with industry-recognized certifications.
